ACM CHI 2023 Workshop position paper
I’m humbled to share that my position paper, which delves into the conceptual exploration of my final Master’s project, has been accepted for a workshop at CHI 2023. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing discourse in this prestigious forum.
Cumulus Antwerp 2023 (published paper – in print)
In April 2023, I had the opportunity to present the published paper “Material Metaphors: method for physicalizing relations and experiences” at the conference Cumulus Antwerp. It is a paper that derived from a course paper and was co written with Dan Lockton and Panos Markopoulos. It helped me develop the skill and knowledge of writing a paper as the first author, and I was able to present the work in front of domain experts.
Salone del Mobile.Milano 2023 at Milan Design Week
I had the humbling opportunity to present an artistic interpretation of my final Master’s project at the renowned Milan Design Week. This experience allowed me to delve into the craft of large-scale canvas creation, while providing a unique platform to convey the narrative of my project in an unconventional manner. This indeed broadened my storytelling and design capabilities.
Erasmus Blended Intensive Program (BIP) at CODE of Applied Sciences, Berlin
Before the start of the M2.2. semester, I had the opportunity to take part in an Erasmus blended intensive program. Alongside a team, we delved into the theme of “Design for Humanity,” employing a more-than-human design methodology and reflecting on emerging technologies through the lens of spirituality. This created a deep-dive into emerging technologies and helped me to broaden my understanding of user needs in a complex society.
